DINE-OUT FUNDRAISER: TOMORROW (Wednesday) 12/11/24
These two local businesses are supporting our school AND our appetite. Celebrating after the winter performance at Ice Cream Luv sounds like a delicious idea and Taco Social for lunch, or dinner, or both, is never a bad plan. Hope to see you all there!
(At Taco Social, the entire restaurant is open to us, but let’s try to meet in the middle picnic table room so we can all indulge together.)

SEEKING VOLUNTEERS FOR THE NOMINATING COMMITTEE
The PTA needs at least 3 members to participate in the nominating committee. This group will help seek out Rockdale community members to fill the various roles of the PTA board for the 2025-2026 school year. More information on this important task can be found HERE. Those who are interested can email vp@rockdalepta.org to sign-up.
SPEAKING OF MEMBERS…
Is your PTA membership up to date? During a recent review, it appears that over half the people on the subscribed list currently have expired accounts! Please search your email for the renewal link and if you have any trouble, email vp@rockdalepta.org and we will get you sorted.

Honestly, you’re all amazing. So each month, we’d like to introduce and acknowledge an association member who has really gone above and beyond.
Please meet: CARLOS RODRIGUES & KELLY KIMES
Meet the dream team behind the Rockdale bulletin board! Carlos and Kelly are parents to Ariel (2nd) and Maret (K). They have been bringing their energy & creativity to decorate the bulletin board according to event or holiday. And they even signed themselves up for the job without even being asked! We really appreciate them helping to showcase the current events at our school by maintaining this helpful means of communication.
CLASS DOJO PTA CLASSROOM
Joining this classroom means that PTA calls for volunteers, important updates, and event flyers will appear in your Class Dojo feed, right alongside announcements from the school and your student’s teacher. This will not replace regular PTA emails, but we hope it will allow for easy communication and participation between Rockdale families and the PTA as Dojo is already a part of your lives.
